Educational activities
| J. Jolles has had an active role in the education to students in the domain of Psychology (especially Neuropsychology and Biopsychology), Medicine and Health Science. He was one of the founders of the study programme of Neuropsychology/Biopsychology in the faculty of Psychology (Maastricht University, from 1995 on) and has acted as coordinator of a large number of planning groups for Biopsychology courses and Neuropsychology courses. He was initiator and first coordinator of the Research Master of Neuropsychology & Abnormal Psychology in Maastricht. In addition, he has been member of planning groups for the courses on Ageing, Brain Dysfunction and other topics on the domain of Brain & Behaviour in the faculty of Medicine. He has an active role in the coaching and supervision of PhD students (58 PhD students). Furthermore, he has had the final responsibility for the supervision of junior health care professionals (clinical (neuro)psychologists, health care psychologists, on the domain of both children, adults and elderly patients): through 2007 (Maastricht University/Medical Centre). He is registered as Clinical Psychologist and Health Care Psychologist for the Dutch Institute for Psychology (NIP) and responsible for the organisation of clinical education for Health Care Psychologists. |
