Overview of activities
Research and health care facilities
Facilities set up in the past period by Prof. Jolles and coworkers include 1. the Maastricht Memory Clinic (facilities for diagnosis, treatment and research for neuropsychiatric patients and older patients), 2. the Maastricht Learning Centre (clinical and research facilities for normal children and children with attention deficit disorder/ADHD, dyslexia and/or other learning disorders), 3. the unit for preclinical human neurocognitive research into normal and successful ageing, 4. the Maastricht Ageing Study (MAAS) which is a large-scale crosssectional and longitudinal programme involving several thousands of healthy individuals followed through the period 1991 through 2010, 5. facilities for experimental psychopharmacological studies (e.g. Clinical and Experimental Psychopharmacology Unit), 6. facilities for neurobiomedical research in old animals and in human brain, 7. Alzheimer Centre Limburg and Maastricht Learning Centre: Service and Knowledge centres which act as interface between Academia and society. |
